Collection and Purposes of Data Processing

• Providing the website and logging (log files)
• Usage analysis to improve the site (Google Analytics)
• Direct communication and appointment processing (ePat)
• Fulfillment of statutory retention obligations and documentation

Health Data and Confidential Communication

Please do not send urgent medical emergencies or, where possible, particularly sensitive health data by ordinary e-mail. For appointment and treatment data, we use dedicated practice processes and secure communication channels such as HIN where possible.

Web Analytics, Advertising & Meta Pixel

Optional analytics and marketing services are loaded only after your consent. This includes Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and Meta Pixel.

• Google Analytics: We process pseudonymized usage data to improve our website. The IP address is shortened or processed in a limited form where possible.
• Google Ads Conversion Tracking: To measure campaign performance, we check whether users perform a certain action after clicking an ad.
• Meta Pixel: If you consent, Meta may receive campaign and usage data to measure the effectiveness of our notices and advertising.

Third-Party Providers

To provide our services, we work with specialized partners:

• Google Maps: To display our locations in Höri and Embrach. The map is embedded only after consent or active loading; data may then be transferred to Google.
• ePat (Dr. med. h.c. ePat AG): Our partner for digital appointment scheduling. Data is processed encrypted and for a specific purpose.
• Hosting and log files: Technical access data is processed to provide the website securely and investigate disruptions.
• HIN/e-mail and phone: For direct communication, we process the contact details and content you provide.

International Transfers

Some providers such as Google or Meta may process data outside Switzerland or the EEA. We use non-essential services of this type only with your consent.

Retention Period

Personal data is only stored as long as the purpose requires or legal retention periods (often 10 to 20 years in medicine) prescribe.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, deletion where no retention obligation applies, data portability or delivery, objection to processing and withdrawal of consent. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
